COVID-19 Workplace Screening Program

To augment the health systems testing capacity and meet high priority needs, the province has changed its testing strategy, including redeployment of rapid antigen tests. As a result, the Workplace Screening Program will be paused, and all orders placed on or after December 13th will not be fulfilled.

Organizations that fall under high-priority streams will continue to be supported, including:
• Long-term care facilities
• Shelters and transition homes
• DCS funded homes and day programs
• First Nations communities
• African Nova Scotian communities

The Workplace Screening Program Team will continue to provide updates as they receive them from Public Health and the Department of Health and Wellness.
